Meet the AMLRC Scholarship winners:

Chayleigh is from Lebanon, Indiana and has been an AMLRC member for 6 years. Chayleigh has been very successful with her Mini Lops, including 1st Youth Sweepstakes for the 2021-2022 year, 1st Youth Quality Points for the 2021-2022 year, and Youth Best Display at the 2021 AMLRC National Mini Lop Show.

Chayleigh has taken a number of advanced courses while in school and she had a major part in "Milk and Meat for Boone County," a program providing food to local food banks in her community.

Chayleigh is attending Purdue University in the College of Pharmacy. She plans to earn a Doctorate in Pharmaceutical Science and Drug Development.

The AMLRC awarded Chayleigh $1,000 to assist her in following her educational aspirations.

Hanna is from Cambridge, Wisconsin and has been an AMLRC member for 5 years. Hanna is currently an AMLRC Co-Youth Liaison. Hanna's Mini Lop successes include an impressive BOSB with a homegrown Mini Lop at the 2021 ARBA Convention and a RIS at the Wisconsin State Fair with a homegrown Mini Lop. This RIS was against over 500 rabbits, including many of the best open breeders in Wisconsin.

Hanna has taken a number of advanced classes in High School, including AP Government, AP Psychology, College English, and a Veterinary Science course.

Hanna is very active in 4H and was part of a newly chartered Lake Ripley 4H Club, serving as Secretary for 1 year and as President for 2 years.

Hanna is currently enrolled at the University of Wisconsin Plateville. She is majoring in Animal Science.
